  • Cinnamon stick: 1
  • Bay leaf: 1
  • Onions: 200 grams
  • Turmeric: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
  • Yogurt: 100 grams
  • Water: 120 milliliters
  • Desi ghee: 2 tablespoons
  • Peanuts: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves: 1 tablespoon
  • Green chili: 2 tablespoons
  • Fox nuts: 30 grams
  • Water: 80 milliliters
  • Green chili: 2
  • Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon

Preparation:

  1. In a blender, add 2 tablespoon mint, 8 grams coriander, 1 tablespoon ginger, 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 tablespoon green chili, 60 millilitres water and blend it well.
  2. In a bowl, add 240 grams boneless mutton, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
  3. Cover it with cling wrap and marinate for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat 50 milliliters oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon mace, 1 teaspoon green cardamom, 1 teaspoon cloves, 1 pod black cardamom, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 bay leaf and stir well.
  5. Add 200 grams onions and cook for 3 – 4 minutes.
  6. Add marinated mutton and cook for 4 – 5 minutes.
  7. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and cook for 8 – 10 minutes.
  8. Add 100 grams yogurt and cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Add 120 millilitres water and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
  10. Cover it with lid and cook for 30 – 40 minutes.
  11. Open the lid and stir well. Remove it from heat.
  12. Add 2 tablespoons desi ghee in a pan, add 2 tablespoons peanuts and stir well.
  13. Add 1 tablespoon garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons green chili and cook for 1 – 2 minutes.
  14. Add 30 grams fox nuts and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
  15. Add blended paste and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
  16. Add 80 millilitres water and cook for 1 – 2 minutes.
  17. Add cooked mutton and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
  18. Cover it with lid and cook for 15 – 20 minutes on low heat.
  19. Open the lid and stir well.
  20. Add 2 green chili, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and cook for 2 minutes. Remove it from heat.
  21. Serve hot.
