  • 4 slices soft bread (white or whole wheat, crusts removed)
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (optional, for a tangy twist)
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs, finely chopped (like parsley, chives, or basil)
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper (red or yellow for color)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Mix Up the Spread:

    • Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, and chopped herbs in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and stir until smooth.

    Prep the Bread:

      • Roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin until thin and flexible.

      Layer It Up:

        • Spread a thin layer of the herbed cream cheese on each slice of bread.
        • Sprinkle a little shredded carrot, cucumber, and bell pepper on top. Keep it light for easier rolling.

        Roll and Chill:

          • Roll up each slice of bread tightly, then wrap each roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.

          Slice and Serve:
